Two Step authentication Issue: Verification code is not receiving to the mobile

My friend has enabled two step authentication to login to the word-press account. It has worked before two weeks ago.
Username: onlinesahayta
login email address:[email redacted]
The last four digits of the phone number shown in the verification screen is correct. However even after trying for two days continuously, still it has not received a verification code via SMS. The generated backup codes are already used.
I am posting this issue since he has no way to do it via his account because of the login being blocked.
Can someone help to solve this issue ASAP.

The username, onlinesahayta, was created yesterday, so it’s quite impossible that 2FA was working for that account two weeks ago, or that they’ve been struggling with this for two days. At the time you posted this thread their account was only a few hours old.
Our logs show that the owner of that account had twice generated and printed out their backup codes, so they can use those to log in and disable 2FA if it’s not working correctly. They have also been logged in and made changes to their account after you had created this thread, so I have no reason to believe they are locked out.
If they are really locked out, ask them to email us at help @ wordpress.com from the email address they used to create their account, and we’ll be happy to help them there.
