Two-step authentication – locked out

I’m locked out of a blog I created under another user id. It was using two-step authentication, which worked until I upgraded my phone. Now I can’t get two-step to properly reinstall on my phone, and I’m tired of messing with it. In the process I accidentally lost my backup codes as well. I have tried disabling 2-step authentication but that didn’t work either. How do I turn off two-step authentication and just go back to using my password. I found instructions for this, but I have to log in with the id I’m locked out of to do it.
The user name for my original account is “theashwinshetty”
If I can’t get this fixed soon, I’ll need to abandon wordpress and find another tool. Please help.
