I’m owner of this blog: leanhtai01files.wordpress.com. I’m use free plan of wordpress for learning.

I set up two-step authentication for my wordpress account but now (after several months from last login) i can’t receive SMS code from wordpress.

I guess the reason is because my country (Vietnam) change my 11-digits phone numbers to 10-digits phone numbers from September 15, 2018 (+84165xxxxxxx to +8435xxxxxxx).

I didn’t find the backup codes, transaction ID,… I’m sorry.
I still have access to the email address using to sign up wordpress.

Do i still have other option? Can you help me recover my account?
    Thank you so much!

If you’ve misplaced your log-in information, the email address or username you’ve entered isn’t recognized, and you can’t use Two Step Authentication to reset your password, you can access your account using the Account Recovery Form. On this form, you can provide certain pieces of information, under Proof of Ownership, to verify that you are the owner of the blog in question:

    • Activation URL: When you created your WordPress.com account, an activation link was sent to your email address that you were required to click. If the email you received included a confirmation button instead of a link, you can copy the activation URL by right-clicking on the button and selecting “Copy Link Address” (this text may be vary slightly depending on your browser).

At the bottom of the form, you can add any other details that may help. Then, click Recover My Account. WordPress will contact you with a response or a request for additional information. Once they have proof verifying you are the blog owner, you will be able to reset your password and regain access to your WordPress.com account.

    Sorry for my English!

My problem is i can’t receive SMS codes to bypass two-step authentication.

I still have access to my registered email, i can reset password through email.

I has lost Activation URL, Backup codes, and i don’t have any Transaction ID (because i use WordPress for free).

    My blog is: leanhtai01files.wordpress.com
