Two step authenticiation : I didn't receive SMS with

  Hi there! Since my new phone I cant login to my other site bruuteuziusbuilds.wordpress.com because I tried getting a code via SMS but never received one. I want to use the authenticator app but I can’t because I can’t reset my own 2FA because I didn’t receive a text with the code. Can someone of staff help me?

  That’s the moment you need your backup codes. Instead of the SMS code you must use one of your backup codes

  isn’t there a way “they” can fix my phonenumber with the +31 thingy so that I can receive the sms? Or reset 2FA?

  Hey there aleone89!

  That is indeed correct, because I cant login into the forums with that account (which is registered under my hotmail email address)
  So I used my gmail account to login into my other wordpress account in order to post this topic.

  But I think someone resetted my 2FA because I can login to my bruuteuziusbuilds wordpress site withou 2FA whoohoo!

  That’s strange, I can login with bruuteuziusbuilds and visit the forums but not change my 2FA or access my profile…

  Can someone please reset my 2FA or fix my phonenumber with the +31 prefix for The Netherlands or just fix the system that should send SMS-codes?

  Thanx Jerry, I check the url for recovery, but I don’t have a transaction ID, an activation URL or authentication codes :( So…. I guess I’m screwed…
