two-step security with phone number

  I am uncomfortable putting in my cell phone number. How can I get past the security prompting without a phone number?

  You can disable the two-step authentication by following the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#disabling-two-step-authentication
