Two Step Verification code received but not requested
-
My blog is: breezesatdawn.wordpress.com
I received a verification code on my phone at 12:24 PM that I did not request. I was already logged into my blog (and creating a post) when it arrived. Any thoughts on why this would happen?
Just want to make sure someone wasn’t hacking in to my blog, and find out if I need to change my password.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
If you are not the person who requested OTP or 2 step verification code then please don’t not share it with anyone else.
If you thinking your password has compromised please change the password and don’t not share it with anyone.

Hi robinanne,
Thanks for reporting this. I’ve sent an email to the address on your Account Settings page and will follow up with you there for more information.

Thanks so much, @gemmacevans,
I should’ve tagged modlook, instead of just telling to reset the password.

@vishalmukadam No problem, a password reset is a helpful recommendation for questions about account security. It would be great if you could modlook any similar threads you come across :)

@vishalmukadam Thank you for your quick response. I did reset my password right away (which was a good suggestion). :)
@gemmacevans And thank you, too. :)
