Two things – 1) Appearance » Menu I can no longer see this and Not able to see my posts I created and attached to pages anymore

  Hello. I took my site off live to make adjustments and went private. When I returned the site to public I could no longer see ‘Appearance » Menu’ menu option in appearance anymore, it’s now in Customizer. And I can’t see any of my posts attached to my Home page, Resources and Information. They are added in the menu and I use to be able to hover the arrow over the Home page and see the other posts in there. So I went to Edit and tried adding posts as a sub menu and that’s worked but I can’t see all the posts and pages I created. My site is private till I can sort out the issue.

  I forgot to add that my Theme is blank canvas. Does that make a difference to not being able to see menu on the Appearance menu anymore? Thanks

  This is because you changed themes, from Pique to Blockbase:

  A couple weeks ago an update in the WordPress software introduced the new Site Editor. This editor allows you to modify your theme itself, similar to how you modify content in the post/page editor, using blocks. Blockbase is one of the first new themes we released that supports this new site editor, and to modify your menu for this theme you add/edit the navigation block in the site editor at Appearance ->Editor.

  You will still see the Menu option in the Customizer, as Blockbase still supports some Customizer options, but for the best experience I recommend you use the site editor instead.

  I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean here. In what way are posts supposed to be attached to your home page?

  Your home page currently is showing exactly the same information as you added to that page’s content in the editor at https://wordpress.com/page/womans41bnetsworks.wordpress.com/103. Can you describe in more detail what’s missing for you?

  If it’s specifically about the drop-down menu, that’s working fine for me – if I hover over any menu item I can see and visit all the posts in the submenu. If the submenus aren’t working for you, check if clearing your browser cache makes any difference:

  However, adding individual posts directly to your menu like this can cause problems down the line – menus aren’t meant to be an index of all posts published on your site, and adding all your posts there will cause your site to break once the menu reaches a certain size.

  Instead, consider assigning categories to your posts, and then adding the category directly to the menu. That will then take people to a page containing all posts in that category. This ensures people will still be able to easily find posts on a particular topic, but will prevent you menu from becoming unwieldy and affecting your site’s performance.
