Two, three, four videos on a Page, in grid pattern?

    Let’s say I have a series of four YouTube videos that I want to put in a Page. I experimented and did one video and noticed that when I visited the site, the video was right on the page beneath the DePo top headline. What I want instead is to have, say, four videos on a page, but only show if I click onto that page, and in DePo, those Pages show as tabs under the title.

    Is it possible to get the four videos to show/be aligned in a grid pattern? So that a person would click onto my page, and then click onto the Page Tab that says, “Videos about xyz,” which would open up the page to show a grid with four videos which could be played one after the other.

    Is it possible?

    Yes, you could create a page for videos, which would be in the tabs. The only way I know how to put youtubes in a grid fashion, is to put them in a table. Then reduce the dimensions of the youtube videos, so that it doesn’t ‘run off’ the page. You can google table makers to get tables. Changing dimensions of youtube ain’t so hard. Just add &l=size&w=size

    I don’t know html so could you please go a little slower? :-)
    Let’s say I now have my four/three/two videos from YouTube.
    1. How do I put them in a table?
    2. How do I reduce the dimension of the videos? :-)
    3. After I Google table makers to get tables, what do I do?
    4. How do I do that html stuff you so kindly showd me? I have no idea what it looks like.

    You’d have to learn HTML to put them in a table. There are no shortcuts.

    Simple two-row two-column grid:

    Youtube shortcode:

    [youtube=URL_HERE]

    To reduce the video size:

    So the code for 4 youtube videos would be:

    I am going to give up on this way of doing it because although you were kind to type out all those codes for me, I look at them and have no idea what to do with them, where to put, what to do first, etc. Too complicated for me. Daunting.

    If you make the post or page with Windows Live Writer you just click on insert table and can insert the videos by clicking into the table boxes and then providing the URLs of the videos. It is almost the same as making a table in Word or other wordprocessing software.

    With videos though you may have to fiddle with it a little because it seems sometimes some people have problems getting video into WordPress (according to the things I see in the forums).I don’t have the experience of doing this though. This is just my best suggestion.
