Two "title" pages on "all pages" after creating static front page?
-
Dear Friends:
I followed the instructions for creating a static front page, and making a “blog” page to take my posts. Had to try several times as tried without instructions first. Finally decided to go look for instructions and followed them.
Everything seems to be working fine. Only one “home page” on the nav bar, and one “blog” page on the nav bar.
Am concerned because when I returned to “All Pages” in the Dashboard I now have two “Title” pages and the page that has become my static “home” page — “Welcome!” — also still appears.
Nothing has gone wrong, and my site appears to be working fine, but I like to be tidy. Is there anything I should fix or change on “All Pages”? Don’t want problems down the road if I can fix them now.
I searched through a lot of “static front page” instructions and did not see a reference to my concern. Most users were concerned with having two “Home” pages or static front page was not working properly.
Thank you very much for your help. I am a long-time Word Press user, but have been away for a while, so am adapting to changes from the format I used two years ago on other sites.
Your patience is appreciated.

Dear Macmanx:
I am guessing that the two “title” pages are not real pages, but merely headings to show the arrangement of each page on “All Pages.”
The fact that my “Welcome” page still shows up after becoming my “Home” page gives me the option to make it a separate page again at some point.
So I guess everything is fine.
Thank you for your patience!
