Two users in one house

Is it possible for two users in the same house to have separate blog sites WITHOUT WordPress linking them together. If answer is yes then how is it done?

    Despairing

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need each user to have their own different email address to create a WordPress.com account and then there will be no connection between the two different usernames.

But this is not what happens as my husband attempted to set up a blog and wordpress then linked it to me.

    Hi @blindzanygirl!

Expanding on @themagicrobot ‘s reply – While your street address doesn’t matter… your email address does! :)

In order for the two of you to have separate accounts, you’ll need to create the second account using a different email address from the first. If you try to create two accounts with the same email address, it will not allow you to continue, and rather prompt you to log in to the account that was set up first.

So – if you share an email address with your husband and were trying to use the same for both accounts, this could be the issue.

Try setting up a new email address (maybe even one relating to the name of his blog!) on Gmail or other free mail sites, then make sure you are completely logged out of WordPress.com, and create a new account using the new email address.

Alternately, you can have one WordPress.com account for both of you to share, and use it to manage several separate, individual sites.

Hope this helps! Best of luck – let us know how it goes!
