two web addresses for the same wordpress account?

why do i have two web addresses? one is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and the other is a domain name i bought graf2inc.com? yet they are both linked to the same wordpress account………
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It seems that you have purchased a domain mapping upgrade. graf2inc.com is set as the primary domain for graffincaa.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.

so apparently my wife paid for a wordpress account. then paid for the extra .com upgrade.
but she had to make it graf2inc.com because grafincs.com already exists on the web somewhere.
so the question is why are these showing up as two different things? arent they linked since it was an upgrade of an original wordpress account? -
ok see if this makes sense to anyone.
when i log in to wordpress i go to my Grafincs dashboard and then go to visit my site and it gives me GRAFinc which is laid out like the original wordpress site that everyone must probably get right at the start before they customise it or start adding posts/pages.but!
if i go to graf2inc.com on my browser i get the site which i have chosen a theme for and added a post to with a picture etc. If i then click on “my site” in the top left hand corner so that it takes me back to the dashboard. It takes me back to the dashboard for Grafincs……..
seriously confused now.
