  If you have two WordPress blogs, is it possible the newer blog’s username could take over your other blog’s username? Reason I ask is saw a friend’s blog and it seemed that the user name from his previous blog (still live) was appearing with the username from his new blog. If this makes sense? Is this possible? A new WordPress blog with new username could overtake your other user name in your other WordPress blog. Is that possible, if so, why? Thanks.

  Any WordPress.com user can have more than one site, but the display name/username that appears will be the same on all of them.

  In order to have two usernames/display names, the person would have to have two entirely separate WordPress.com accounts.

  Thanks justhjennifer :) Does that mean to have two separate wordpress sites you would need different email accounts too?

  Yes, it does. Some people avoid this issue by choosing themes that do not display the author name.

  Not off the top of my head, but you can tell in the theme preview.
