Tying to add a script below the Body tage
-
I was given a code to add to my blog and website in WordPress.com
Hey Jeff,
Sorry about the delayed reply and the confusion on our part regarding install. Good news, the code below should get you all setup:
<script src=”https://widget.upshare.co/v1/app/public/js/up-load.js?partnerid= 22154″ id=”UPWidget”></script
Please paste this into the template code for your site, ideally right before the closing </BODY> tag and we should be good to go.
Do let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You will not be able to use this script tag within your WordPress.com site. WordPress.com users are not permitted to modify the HTML coding of their site. Script tags are also blocked for security purposes as explained here:
Can you explain a bit about what you’re trying to accomplish with that code? Perhaps there’s another way to accomplish what you’re looking for!

I got this code from a Chief Technical officer. Here is what he wrote. I’m happy if there is any other way to do it.

Hi Simon,
The code you provided will not work at WordPress.com for the reasons provided previously (namely, the script tag is blocked). You will not be able to use that code.
Can you explain what the code is for? Is it for tracking of some kind or designed to insert a certain piece of text into your site?
