Type not working when trying to reply to a comment!!!

Now when I try and respond to a comment myself, the cursor shows up in the box and will not move. PLEASE help!!! TIA

Try the cookie dance. Log out, clear cache and cookies, restart the browser, login again and check if the problem persists. Also, please provide browser and Operating System version numbers when reporting odd software behaviour.

Thanks for getting back. I’m using the latest version of Firefox. Please forgive me as I am about zero computer proficient. I have done all of the above and it still isn’t working. I go the the reply section of the comments, I can past some links into the box, then when I try to type it is frozen. I want to scream. Thanks for your help!! Any all is much appreciated.

It’s very odd. Have you tried making your post in Notepad and then just copy/pasting it in? Try and let us know if that works.

Okay, I’m stumped. Just did this and now immediately upon clicking to reply, the entire page freezes up, including the navigation bar. Just tried to reply to posts on other pages and it’s fine. Of course this page acts as a ‘forum’ for my reader Q&A…*SIGH* I’m thinking maybe it’s something on my end? But why then would the rest of the posts be fine??

I suspect(!) the problem is with your computer or your connection. We would have a lot more reports about freezing machines if the problem were with WordPress.com.
Just to be on the safe side I suggest you have someone proficient look at your system.

I think I would have to agree, which is what I was afraid of. If I wasn’t the only one, that would be one thing…thanks so much for your help and time!
