Typed the wrong url in a new blog – how to change?

  I just created my first WordPress Blog. I accidentally used ‘completelymashugana.wordpress.com’ as the url. How can I change the url for my blog? I found out how to delete it and start over but I think that would lock out my e-mail address from every getting a WordPress blog again.

  Is there a way to re-do my newly created url or start over?

  Try registering one with the correct name; this means, though, that you will have two blogs.

  Register the new blog while logged into your spelling error one – you can have more than one blog on the same email address. Deleting a blog does not have any effect on your email – your email is not locked out –

  The only thing that deleting a blog does is lock the deleted name so that it can never be used again. WordPress.com does not recycle names.

  One you get the spelling right then go back and log into the misspelled blog and delete it – several steps to make sure that you really want do delete a blog.

  Just type the blog you want (i.e. http://blogname.wordpress.com) in the address bar, and if the blog doesn’t exist you will be asked if you want to create it… you can take it from there.
