Typekit stopped working

    Blog url: http://www.lovesuzanne.org

I built this site last year, before WordPress required the Custom Design upgrade to use Typekit. I haven’t checked on it in a while because we only use it seasonally to promote a charity event. Previously I installed a Typekit Kit for Angie STD Sans on our headers, etc. The Typekit font was working fine before but has now gone back to the theme’s default font.

The Typekit Kit ID is still applied on my blog. If I understand correctly, I don’t have to pay for the Custom Design upgrade as long as I don’t change the Kit ID. I’ve tried logging into Typekit and republishing the kit, but nothing happens.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. We are a very small nonprofit (basically my mom and me) and we work on an extremely limited budget so I’d rather not purchase the upgrade.

    Thank you!!

I looked at the Fonts page in your blog and I see that the Typekit Kit ID is applied to your blog. I also checked the page source of http://lovesuzanne.org/ and I see that the Typekit resources are being loaded. It’s hard to tell from our side what you’ve done at Typekit.com though. What font do you have selected for headings? And can you verify the selectors you’re using on the Typekit side?

The font I’ve selected is Angie STD Sans.

I used the following selectors in the TypeKit Editor:
    #pagenav a
    .post .title
    .site-title
    .tk-angie-sans
    h1
    h2
    h3
    h4
    h5
    h6

    Does that answer your questions?

Yep, and I found which font you selected through Typekit.com too. If you click the “Fonts from Typekit” tab at the bottom right, it shows you your Typekit Kit ID fonts. On that page for your blog, at the top it says, “Typefaces used on http://www.lovesuzanne.wordpress.com.” But that domain is not correct. Your domain is http://lovesuzanne.org/ Can you correct the domain name in your Typekit.com account?

I did that, and I’ve waited about 10 minutes for changes to take effect, but no luck. :-/

I emailed Typekit support too. I’ve a feeling the problem might be on their end.

    Fixed!

You were absolutely right — I just forgot to click “publish” after I changed the domain. Thanks so much for your help!

Yay! Glad to hear it’s fixed. Cute font. :)
