TypePad Import Only Brings in One Post

  Hello WordPress Support Team,

  I’ve attempted to import my TypePad blog into my WordPress.com site (meandering239058125.wordpress.com). The export MTIF file contains all of my posts, but when I use Tools → Import → Movable Type and TypePad, only one post comes through.

  I’ve retried the import and each time I receive the message saying the import is processing and to get in touch with support if no email arrives within 24 hours. No email ever arrives, and there’s no option to re-upload.

  I’ve checked the TypePad export file in a text editor and can see all posts included. I’ve also seen other users reporting the same issue in the forums, so it seems to be a broader problem with the importer.

  Could you please investigate and advise on next steps, or let me know if there is a known bug affecting TypePad imports?
