Typo

  There is a typo on the site but it’s correct on the dashboard and I can’t figure out where the error is?

  You need to:

  Upload it to your media library, and give out the URL to your image.

  Or you can just type the word here, it would probably be easier to spot.

  Can you send me the link again? When you click the image and open the media editor, there is a text field on the right that says URL.

  The image of the screenshot should be in the format of:
  https://yourwebsitename.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/name-of-file.jpg
  (it shouldn’t have wp-admin anywhere in the URL.)

  When I go to http://supportthestripes.wordpress.com/ I don’t see a share button. How are you sharing it? Is this to Facebook?

  Never mind, I see it now. It’s when you are at facebook.com and you cut and paste the URL http://supportthestripes.wordpress.com/ into the Update Status box.

  Try these:

  In your Settings > General, change the Site Title. Try changing the Site Title to something else, then click the Save Changes button, then change it back to your old title, then click Save Changes again.

  Also, when you share your update on Facebook, you can click on the title to edit the title.

  You probably have to go through Facebook’s debugger to clear FB’s cache.

  • Go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
  • Enter the URL of your site and click the “Debug” button
  • Click the “Fetch new scrape information” button.

  Now when you share your site, Facebook should give it the correct address.
