Typo fixed on blog but not FB post, Twitter feed, or other subsequent shares

Help! This sucks! I uploaded a post yesterday with a typo in the title. I fixed it by changing the title from “Lobbying to Breath” to “Lobbying for Breath.” However, the FB connection still says “Lobbying to Breath.” Unfortunately, this post was shared on other professional sites, at least 2, with the typo. Its embarrassing and unprofessional and I can’t figure out how to change it. The FB post and the share do not reflect the change. Please help ASAP!!!!!!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s already gone out on the RSS Feed, correct? Then all you can do is edit the Post http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ correct the typo and click “update” in the Publish module and the corrected post will be sent out in the RSS Feed.

I tried that. It’s changed on my blog but the RSS feed on FB maintained the typo. Everytime its shared, it maintains the typo. Even when I erased the share from my FB page and re-posted from my blog, the typo in the title shows up. Super embarrassing to have a typo reposted and reblogged and shared. Does anyone know how I can get costumer support from WordPress?

That will not help. You made a typo and broadcasted it. You now wish the recipients of the broadcast, namely FB and Twitter, to update the posts made at that time. They literally cannot do that. You can make new posts to FB and Twitter, but you cannot change those.

You will learn over time not to worry so much about the typo thing, because everyone online any significant amount of time has had it happen to them at least once.

Here’s the weird thing. Even when I delete the FB post and try to do it over again, the typo shows up! I will give it up; I just thought if there was an easy fix I’d try it.
