Typo in my blog's domain name!

  I found a typo in my original blog . I created cheechakodairies.com (I’m not a dairy) instead of cheechakodiaries.com. So I started another blog, and bought another domain name for it. BUT I want to keep the name of my blog as The Cheechako Diaries. Can you help me get this sorted out?

  Hi there,

  You should be able to log into your Dashboard, go to Store > My Upgrades and then cancel these products and still be within your window for refund. But if something happens and you aren’t able to, please let me know!

  You can also export your blog contents from one to another if you have posted anything or uploaded anything!

  Then, if you are certain you don’t want the old WordPress.com blog, you can delete it. However, blog URLs are never re-used, so if you delete it, no one can use it again. If you deactivate it, someone else can use it in the future with your permission.

  Thanks for this information. I’ve already put everything I needed into the new blog at the right URL, but I’m hesitant to delete the old one because it’s showing this.

  Hi there,

  I’m not certain, but I think you’re referring to the site title and tag line. These can both be edited in your Dashboard > Settings > General. It looks like you’ve already managed to modify this; or are you asking about something else?

  I’m getting close. Now how do I get rid of cheechakodairies.com? I’m afraid to delete it for fear that it might in some way be connected to the correct blog site: cheechakodiaries.com

  Hi Genie,

  You’re very close! Your custom domain for cheechakodairies.com isn’t at all related to the correct custom domain. So to cancel it, you can go to the dashboard of the blog that has that domain, and navigate to your My Upgrades page (Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades):
  https://runningtoalaska.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades

  There you can click the link for cancellation information and confirm you want to cancel the domain. This will revert your blog associated to that domain to the blog url runningtoalaska.wordpress.com.
