Typo on twitter and facebook previews

    After I published it to twitter and facebook I noticed a typo in the preview text (excerpt). I fixed it and created a new post on Facebook and Twitter (the day after I fixed it) but the typo is still there. Is this a problem of the twitter/facebook platform or is WordPress.com not updating the preview correctly? If the latter, how can I fix it?
