Typography

I am a retired newspaper editor. I find many of your type-management options to be confusing. Some are even difficult to find. For example, what do you click on to change the font and the size of the body copy in what you post? The ‘standard’ is small-sized in a sans serif font. I want my rants displayed in at least a ‘medium’ type size, preferably in the serif Georgia font.

Hi there!
If you’re using the block editor, you will find the option to change the typography settings on a per-block basis. This will show up on the “Block Settings” option on the right sidebar under the heading “Typography.” See this screenshot:

You may find the information on the Paragraph block page useful as well. Feel free to give it a read!
Font style can only be changed for the whole site. How to do that depends on what theme you have active. Please check out this page for more information on changing font style: https://wordpress.com/support/custom-fonts/
Hope that helps!
