  Hello, this is just a small thing, sort of looking for discussion, feedback?

  In the right hand column – using block editor – there is the TYPOGRAPHY section. Options are normal small, default etc with a corresponding PX size option.

  Back in the day, this was a drop down which, I think could be scrolled.
  Some time ago, this feature was replaced by fixed digits. Now, one needs to physically type a number in the field.

  For me personally – and I stress it is just me – this is less than convenient and not a good UX. Unlike the clever lads and lassies out there, I can not envisage in my small brain what a 26 px font looks like in comparison to a 27.

  Ok, now I did say it was just a small thing. But, for me, it was easier and faster to use the older version to adjust font size than the new one.

  Just wondering if anyone else had a viewpoint on this – either way.

  Can I check, are you referring to a heading block or a paragraph block?

  Both – actually~

  But clearly I have not made myself.
  Clear I mean.

  Your image shows the custom font size with just a px option.
  As does mine.
  Now.

  But previously it had a vertical version of < > which allowed one to scroll quickly through various font sizes. Up ^ … or, oh, sorry can’t find a down carrot on my keyboard .

  That functionality may have changed recently to take accessibility into account.

  Are there any hindrances you’re experiencing with this change?

  Are you looking to change the PX to another unit?

  <OK, got it, at least I now know I wasn’t dreaming it. Not sure I understand accessibility – in my mid clicking the carrot was easier than typing multi numbers. I’m just a little dyslexic, sometimes I type backwards – no big deal>

  Hello, is my face red?

  I have a cat.
  This morning she walked over my keyboard and somehow manged to activate an upwards scroll in my code.
  After a little analysis I isolated it to the UP DOWN arrow keys.

  Then I wondered?

  Judging by the thousands of replies my question garnered this isn’t likely to be useful to anyone- but just in case:

  YES! By clicking the mouse on the custom font size field one CAN scroll up or down using the appropriator arrow key.

  I am happy to hire my cat out to you for any other “mouse” issues!
