UFUSED website, need help uploading a plugin?

    Hello! I run a student organization’s website at my university. I’m trying to install a plugin so that I can embed a map into our website, but it keeps saying that I need to be the site owner. I am the site administrator, but unfortunately the site owner no longer has control over the website since the website was created years ago. Any help would be much appreciated!
