Uh oh! Your blog’s domain expired 4 days ago!
-
So I renewed the domain yesterday, but when I go to the website it says, “Uh oh! Your blog’s domain mturugby.com expired 4 days ago!”
What could the problem be? I renewed it nearly 13 hours ago through GoDaddy…when I spoke to them yesterday they said it can take upto 6 hours to update itself.
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It see the expired domain overlay on your site as well.
Since it appears that your domain name is registered with GoDaddy, is it possible you also need to renew your domain mapping upgrade here on WordPress.com as well?
-
Yep also updated the mapping yesterday for the site through the wordpress site and paid the 13 bucks and got a receipt, but when I log into WordPress it says I still need to renew and pay the 13 dollars…not sure why it’s asking for two payments as looking at payment history only ever paid one payment a year.

It says
My Domains
Renewing mturugby.comYour blog is mapped to your domain (mturugby.com) and this domain mapping needs to be renewed before September 2, 2014. Renewal will extend the domain mapping by one year, until September 2, 2015 for only $13.00. (Remember to renew the domain itself with your registrar, too.)

The last domain mapping I renewed (auto renew) the “Renewing” was displayed most of the day – seemed like it took over 12 hours for some reason before I was sent a receipt

got a reply from staff and it looks as if, “purchase was not triggering the extension of your domain mapping but I went ahead and fixed that for you. You should be all set now.”
Thanks everyone for the help..
