UI is different when accessing the WordPress site from the Internet
-
So this is my first setup with WordPress. It seems like it’s opening just fine on my local Azure VM with no issues and I can log into the site. However, I’ve setup inbound NAT rules in Azure, made a public DNS A record and I can access http://www.usmmi.com/wordpress/wp-login.php from the Internet, but the UI is a completely different look and I can’t even log in using the same credentials as I do in Azure. So, not sure why that is. I did make a change in Azure DC but not sure if it’s correct. For that, I created an A record pointing to the private IP of the WordPress server.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think you are on the wrong website. None of the items that you have described are available features with hosting by WordPress.com.
I believe you may have purchased a self-hosted plan from a different service provider. Your site profile is below:

Not sure exactly what you mean being on the wrong website. I don’t follow. This is my first time trying to set this up for a client. Maybe if I can ask this. When I log into my WordPress, go to Settings – General, I see 2 options to change the URL. WordPress Address and Site Address. I changed both and the site got messed up and I couldn’t even log into it anymore even on the VM. For example the WordPress Address and Site Address shows “http://localhost/wordpress. What should I change either setting to access the WordPress site externally? I think when I replaced “localhost” with “www.usmmi.com” it got messed up and couldn’t log into the site. I’m just not sure what to do here.

Here this should help clear up the confusion:
WordPress powers millions of websites, from bloggers and small businesses to massive news sites and companies. This guide will help you to understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and which might be the best fit for your website. Overview of Differences The same WordPress software powers both WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites. One of the main differences is hoYou can get support for your site on the WordPress.org forums. The community there is made up of other users like yourself who are operating self-hosted sites.
If you find the technical details of web design cumbersome I would suggest moving your site to WordPress.com. We don’t have to mess with any of that here because the platform handles it for us.
