Hi this is http://www.ffeirio.wordpress.com I have been having exactly the same problem. Using 2 different laptops off talk talk ISP. Tried safari, firefox & google browsers with the same result. I have left a topic on the forum at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/trouble-accesssing-website-through-wordpress?replies=3#post-914556 but yet to receive any response. Can someone Please let me know what is happening.

is there anywhere we can see the current official status of this issue? If not, I suggest you put a “sticky” post on the support and forum start pages. I also find it a bit strange that nothing is said about this in the official WordPress blog (http://en.blog.wordpress.com/) since so many people is having this problem…What is the current status? Has anyone on WordPress contacted Talktalk?
I would also suggest adding a heartbeat/system status page, where users can go and see how the whole WordPress system is doing :)
Otherwise thanks for a superb service! Keep it up and hope that you can solve the issue soon!

Has anyone tried contacting TalkTalk?
I haven’t—I’ve sat in their hours-long queues before, and I can’t afford the phone bill it creates—but I’ve seen a few people mention they have. Apparently TalkTalk say it must be a WordPress problem, as it’s not affecting other sites. Which does make sense, unusual as that may be for TalkTalk’s ‘help’ desk.

I have been having the same problems all week. I have tried all the suggestions offered and nothing helps. Clearning cookies helps long enough for me to do one save of a draft post and then right back to getting ‘connection error messages again.
I am also with talk talk.
Come on WordPress, please stop ignoring us and give us an update on this issue! -
I suggest people e-mail support at wordpress as mentioned above. I’ve done so, stating the duration of the issue, how it affects me, the browsers I use & the steps I’ve taken to eradicate it.
As to TalkTalk – just because their support desk can ping the WP servers doesn’t actually mean they don’t have a problem (and I doubt 1st line support are doing more than pinging – or even simply loading a webpage from – WordPress).
Even so, SOME feedback here from WP as to their own efforts would be welcome. Obviously, if I get a reply to the e-mail I’ve sent to support, I’ll post it here.

So far today I have had no problems, it all seems to be working as normal.
This is the time I normally to access my blog. How is everybody else’s connection fairing up?
If anything changes, I’ll come back and report.

Four hours later and everything is still a-ok. Am I to assume that this problem has been identified and sorted out?

yep. mine has been working too for several hours now. the wordpress logo spins endlessly on the stats page, but can live with that. well done who ever seems to have fixed it.

Came on line a while ago and found no problem. Such a relief :) Thanks for now.
They’re not saying, but I think thing some whiz kids have been working hard to fix the problem and are cautious in declaring it solved. So if your pages load OK for a period, let wordpress know.

I initially had issues through until around 15:00 BST today. From then through until 18:00-ish, no problems whatsoever. Am just resuming work with blog, and things appear to be OK.

This thread has cheered me up a bit as I now realise the problems I’ve been having for days are not my fault, and it’s obviously Talk Talk. Time to switch to another ISP. Trouble for me is I don’t have many choices where I live and the alternatives aren’t that much better. :(

There is an issue between on of our third-party CDNs and Talk Talk. We are working with our CDN to resolve the issue, and you might want to try contacting your ISP too.
