Hi,
I can absolutely see how that would feel frustrating.
But the fact is that it’s less that we want to charge Ukrainian users in Rubles, and more that Hryvnia has never been a currency that we are set up to accept. That said, this is probably something we should look into more deeply, given the current state of things.
As to why the system defaults to Rubles for users from Ukraine, I’d have to dig into it a bit more. I suspect data somewhere informed the system that Rubles were the second most common currency for these users (at least at one point). But that could have been inaccurate even then and it absolutely seems likely to be wrong now. Given that we cannot currently accept Hryvnia, is there a different currency that you’d suggest setting as a default for Ukrainian users? Euros? USD? Something else I’m not thinking of?
I will look into all of this and discuss it with our payments team. In the meantime, if it would help, I can change your billing currency to any of the currencies listed here:

Thank you for clarifying. I’ve set your account to use Euros when it displays pricing — if you wish to change to USD instead let us know!
Also, our team is currently investigating how your account defaulted to Rubles, since it would not do this normally.

Also, based on your feedback we’ve changed things on our end so accounts from Ukrainian IP addresses will now default to pay in EUR.

My IP is Ukraine-based, according to the GeoIP database. -

We use geolocation to set your currency, but if you are traveling or use a VPN to mask your IP we can sometimes get that wrong.
