UL text color change

    I am trying to change the color of text in a list. The blog in question is http://franyoshioka.wordpress.com/ and the text to change is the light gray text at the bottom of the page (the “Log in” link is one example)

    Theme is “Vostok”

    I have not purchased the Custom CSS option yet, but am authorized to do so once I am certain I know how to make the change (must be able to preview in CSS editor – live blog with traffic so I must be certain it works before purchasing Custom CSS).

    I am familiar with CSS (or so I thought) but am unable to find where to make the change and getting frustrated.

    Them main and visited color definition is under

    .widget-area a:link, .widget-area a:visited

    The hover and such is under

    .widget-area a:hover, .widget-area a:active, .widget-area a:focus
