Ultimate Member User-Post Creation Problem
-
Hey! My name is Kiren DeRaj. Thanks very much (in advance) for taking the time to help me out.
Anyway, here is my issue:
I’ve created as simple site (https://serviceairbnb.wpcomstaging.com/), and with the help of the Ultimate Member plugin, I’ve successfully created 2 new user roles (“Customers,” who can only read. and “Contractors,” who can create posts/pages for the “Customers” to view), and also ways for each user role to log in.
My problem, is that I cannot figure out how to make it possible for “Contractors” to create posts. I haven’t found anything online at all (but that may be because I have no idea what exactly I should be searching for).
I guess all I want is for users who are logged in as “Contractors” to have access to a “+” button, which will take them somewhere where they can make a post/page (if possible, both) and publish it.
Would you be able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks very much,
Kiren

Hello Kiren,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Just so that you know, in the first instance it’s most ideal if you reach out to the plugin developers for help.
I did a search and I think this might be useful to you: https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1540-how-to-allow-member-to-write-posts
I hope this helps.
