Ummm…where has my media disappeared too?

All images, with the exception of those added on Friday, have disappeared from my media library. What happened? Thanks!

And, I just discovered that when I add new media it shows as added, but if I close the media window and go back in they’re gone. But, I know they’re there some where because my amount of usage went up a snidge.

Images do usually not disappear from the media library. Maybe you accidentally deleted them somehow? If you want you can checkout [advertising link removed by mod] for more help on this issue.

Oh, good! That’s actually good that it’s not just me. They seem to be doing some “upgrading” this week, so I’m hoping they’ve pushed a wrong button and can unpush it. :)

Yes, I’m having this exact problem too and I just found another thread posted today on it. Maybe it’s a system-wide glitch?

me2 just added everything again and now I see 20 other pictures, but my space used is getting higher….. Can’t write my posts like this… have deadlines today =/

I’m having the same problem…
The media does seem to be there but I just can’t see it.
(It’s taking up space on my drive)
Hopefully it’ll become visible again soon!

Found a way around it so you can all use the new editor!!
When you want a pic not showed in the 20 you can see, type the title of th pic in the search bar and it will appear and be usable!!
No engineers available, but this is a temporary solution to avoid further irritation =]

As I’m able to see the images in your posts, this sounds like it might be a connectivity issue. Regardless, I’ve tagged this thread for Staff attention and investigation.

Hi again, let me understand a little better. When you say you don’t see the images in your Media Library, are you referring to the Media Library in your WP Admin Dashboard or the window that opens when you are trying to add a new image to a post via the New Dash Editor “Add Media” button?
