You can’t disconnect your account from your site. Most of the time, problems like yours a due to browser issues. You could start by solving them as described at https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/

Thanks for your response but I’ve cleared the cache and the issue is still there. I can no longer actually view my site in the manage sites section. I think i might have a similar issue to these people https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/accidentally-downgraded-myself/

Hey there,
I checked your account credentials and confirmed you are still an administrator on the site. I enabled Secure Sign On in order to test for further issues and was able to successfully access the plugins page, and other settings pages. It looks like this issue may have been related to Secure Sign On, but I was also seeing some errors from BuddyPress which could be related. Please take a look at the sight and let me know if you are still seeing any issues. You may wish to disable Secure Sign On again to re-enable account registration features for BuddyPress:
This guide explains an advanced setting for managing logins to your site using WordPress.com’s secure authentication. While most sites won’t need to adjust this setting, it’s commonly disabled on websites with membership functionality added via a plugin. This feature is available on sites with the WordPress.com Creator or Entrepreneur plan. If your site has one of our legacy plans, it is availHope this helps!
