UN/email is old and I need to update with new email, but wordpress is difficult.

I’ve been blocked out of my PAID account for Little Kentucky Farm. WordPress wants me to update my password, but I can’t because I need to FIRST update my old email address because it is no longer functioning.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To recover access to your paid account for Little Kentucky Farm, you will need to complete the official WordPress.com Account Recovery form. Since you no longer have access to the registered email address, you can use your billing information as ‘Proof of Ownership.’ WordPress support can verify your identity using a recent Transaction ID from your bank statement or the last four digits of the credit card used for your subscription. Once they confirm your identity through these payment details, they can manually update your account email to your new address, allowing you to reset your password and regain full access.

@eortheterrific you’ll find that account recovery form here https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Enter the information that @james3265166 mentioned only on that form and not here in our very public forums.

Unfortunately nothing works because my WordPress account is registered to an old and inactive email address. I’m unable to reset the requested password because its the inactive/old email. I’m completely blocked from my account and cannot update my farm’s website. All proof of paid annual premium plan ($96/year) has been sent to the old email address that I cannot access because its been deactivated. I am the PAID owner of littlekentuckyfarm.com and would appreciate if my account wasn’t blocked, and if I could give you my updated email address.

To regain access to littlekentuckyfarm.com without your old email, you will need to use your Transaction ID as proof of ownership. Since you have an active $96 Premium plan, look at your bank or credit card statement for the most recent WordPress charge; you will see a unique 10-character code listed next to it. You can then submit this code through the WordPress.com Account Recovery form by selecting the option ‘I do not have access to this email address.’ Once a Happiness Engineer verifies that your payment matches the account, they can manually update your login to your new email address and restore your access.

I pulled up banking statement and authorized payment of $96 occurred August 24,2025 with payment processed on August 25th. There is no 10 digit or 10 unique character code. It only shows payment through Wells Fargo of $96 of Wp WordPress C35 x 6.
This cannot be that difficult to reactivate my obviously owned website. Bloody hell! I sell horses… -
I completely understand your frustration it shouldn’t be this hard to access a site you clearly pay for. Since your Wells Fargo statement shortened the code to ‘Wp WordPress C35 x 6’, you have enough to force a manual review. If they still give you trouble, you can also attach a screenshot of that specific line from your bank statement (black out everything else) to the support ticket. That usually ends the argument immediately.

I’ve readded the
modlooktag to this thread .That is the tag that notifies staff that their assistance is needed here. Please do not remove it and please be patient for staff to respond. Given the holidays, it may take a little longer than usual. Thanks for your patience.

Let me add something.
Please share here the email address that is no longer working associated with the account for that site and also your current email address where you can be reached.
Write them normally and they will be redacted from view here in the community forums, but staff will still be able to see them. like this (email visible only to moderators and staff)
