un-mapping my go-daddy domain

    I cancelled my blog and mapping with wordpress. How long does it take, to release it, soI can use it on another blog platform. Thank Youm

    Hi there,

    All domain mapping does is connect your domain you already own to us. You can point the domain somewhere else at any time by changing the domain’s name servers at your domain registrar.

    It looks like you bought your domain itself from GoDaddy, so you need to change the name servers on their end to whatever is used by the blogging platform you decide to use. Nothing on our end is preventing you from doing that.
