Unabel to access my blog page.
-
Hello, I am unable to put in my werdpress address and find my blog. Others are unable to find it as well. I reach a page that says that I do not exist and when I try to log in the same page comes up and when I click on the top right hand page to log in then all of a sudden I am taken to the page where I write my posts. How can people find me if the webpage it says that I am is not correct? Is this due to being free and do I
have to upgrade in order for people to find me. Please let me know as I wanted to start a free webpage to see if WordPress is right for me. But since I have had nothing but problems with my bold page I may have to reconsider. I have had my blog with you for over a year now and it has been nothing but problems. Thank you for your help and support. Please can you tell me what my blog page address is so I and others may be able to access it. Thank you for your assistance in this area. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The s stands for “secure.” Using HTTPS is a more secure way of serving websites. More info: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2014/08/https-as-ranking-signal.html

There are a couple different settings. One is for the site title, and that appears at the top of your website on the main screen. Another is for the URL. A URL is lowercase, has no spaces, and it is formatted in a very specific way, for example: https://example.wordpress.com where “example” is the blog name, wordpress.com is the domain name, and example.wordpress.com is the subdomain.
You probably don’t want to change the URL but rather want to change the site title because that is the text that search engines such as Google care about more.
Your current site title for https://dramseyumoren.wordpress.com/ is “Delia Ramsey”
You can change your site title at https://wordpress.com/settings/general/dramseyumoren.wordpress.com
After you change it, Google will eventually find the updated title and then if you use your browser address bar to search for it, it should show up near the top the search results. How long it takes for it to show up will depend on how fast it takes Google to pick up the site title change after you make it. There is no set time frame.

Welcome!

It depends. If you leave off the https:// part and type a domain such as example.wordpress.com into your browser, it should work.
If you type free form text, then most browsers will default to a search engine query and your blog will show up only if your blog has been picked up by the search engine and the search engine ranks you well for the keywords you entered.
