Unable to a transferred site

Hi, my husband transferred his WordPress site to me… But it looks like I am still an editor! Now I am unable to post messages because they have to be reviewed first – by who? My husband already deleted his account… Is there any other solution to solve this problem?

I’ve just checked the site and I can see that there are two other administrators on the site, and one of them owns the site at the moment.
I do see that the person who created the site has deleted their account, so I assume that’s your husband’s account, but the site wasn’t transferred to your account
godsarmyarise– it was transferred to a different one.We can’t reveal which account it is due to security reasons, but there are two other accounts on the site (both of them administrators, while your account role is a contributor), and one of those administrators is the owner of the site.
Do you know of the other people who are administrators on the site? You’d need to get in touch with them so that they can change your user role to Administrator (and transfer the site ownership to you if needed).

Thanks for yor reply! Yes I know who the other Administrator is… Actually I made all the sites – my husband and I worked together as a team. For security reasons we changed the URL of our accounts – I shouldn’t have done that! Yesterday I have been trying to find out what would happen if I commented on a post of the other administrator: WordPress sent me a notification! What happens if I restore the former name of my account? Could that be the solution to get access again as an administrator? I don’t know if it is even possible… It is such a pity that I lost access to the site because it is one of my favorites :(

Do you know who is the author of this blog post? That is who you need to ask to make you the admin of propheticnewsnetwork.wordpress.com.
Only they have the power to change your account permissions, and we are not able to do this for you. Let us know if you need further assistance or if you have any questions.

I am the person who posted it but I changed my username – so to become an administrator again I should recover my old username, but I don’t know if this is possible?

I’m not sure I understand that. You have access to log in as @theriverofgod or is that an account controlled by someone else?
I can confirm that it is an active account, so you may be referring to a different deleted account, but this one is not deleted.

Hello there!
Just want to let you know that I have been able to login to my WordPress account with my former username……
Then I took the next step and changed my role from contributor to administrator!
So the problem has been solved….THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping me out !!
