Unable to access account

  I would like to use my original WordPress account instead of the account I created today.

  Earlier today I tried to access my original WordPress account and was unsuccessful. Thinking wrong password, submitted request to reset and I received nothing. I attempted several times to do something but with no success. Eventually, I received message there is no account under my email, (email visible only to moderators and staff). So I decided to start a new account. Filled in required information, including email, (email visible only to moderators and staff), and it would not work because the address is being used by another account. I couldn’t use my typical userid, jrachelle, because it is being used. The userid I understand it is possible for another to use it but the yahoo email address, no. I’ve had the address for 20+ yrs.

  I would like to use my original WordPress account, with my primary email account, (email visible only to moderators and staff), which is probably set with my typical userid, jrachelle. Is my account still available? The new account is userid jrachelle13 with email (email visible only to moderators and staff).
