Unable to access account or website

    Hi,
    I am unable to access my account or my website. I have had a company design my website back in 2019. I don’t have any of the “proof of ownership” information they ask for as the website was built by a 3rd party who didn’t provide those. Not sure if they were even available at the time and was probably using the free hosting then so virtually no transaction.
    By now the account has probably been closed but if not I’d like to see if I can retrieve the website and information. Even if not, I want to get my company domain name back so I can reuse that.

    Hi ,

    I did a who is lookup.

    These are the statuses.

    Domain Status: clientRenewProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientRenewProhibited

    This status code tells your domain’s registry to reject requests to renew your domain. It is an uncommon status that is usually enacted during legal disputes or when your domain is subject to deletion.

    That means it is in place to prevent third party to use the domain.

    So my first step is to get the domain sorted out with the registrar, then the domain will be working. Then would I be able to access the website?

    Please check GoDaddy ( registrar ) and then see. We can check if the website will be up next.

    It also looks like clover-sprinkles.com is using nameservers associated with GoDaddy, so they are both your domain registrar and also your web hosting provider and their support team should be able to help you with recovering access to your website.

    If they say this is a problem with the WordPress software, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

    Thank you for that.

    Seems like I got a slew of things to sort out and resolve with GoDaddy about my domain before retuning about the website.
    It will take some time for the things to update and run.
