unable to access any wordpress.com pages
-
Once again having problems with my WordPress blog. My sister has a Blogspot one that never presents any of these issues.
My blog is not loading from my old PC now – none of the posts loads, nor the dashboard nor even the stats. I can access help pages and community forums for the US WordPress.org but none of the UK ones.
I’ve checked that cookies are enabled and disabled and re-enabled my firewall to make sure that’s not the problem.
It seems every time WordPress updates it leaves some of us behind. Anyone else having this problem? I can only access the community forum on my laptop. Yes, I am running an old version of Firefox as it’s an old PC but it’s much easier to work on it than on the laptop so I’d like to keep using it for blog posting.
The weird thing is that some of the other blogs I follow aren’t loading but a couple still are. It’s ridiculous that I’m locked out of my own blog and wouldn’t even be able to access a forum to complain if I didn’t have another computer.
The blog I need help with is https://bashfulbadgersblog.wordpress.com/. And this is the message I get for any WP page I try to load.
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.Thanks, Bashful.

Thanks, timethief. Unfortunately, when I’m on the PC it won’t open this forum or any of the wordpress.com pages re. third party cookies, etc., let alone the modlook one. I’ll work through the non-WP sites and see what happens.

@bashfulbadger, it sounds like your system is blocking WordPress.com and possibly some other sites too.
I’ll contact you via email since it’s hard for you to reach our site. Hopefully we can help you find the culprit. Cheers :)
