Unable to access Appearance->Widget

    Ever since the change in the dashboard, I have been unable to view many of the original options. Especially in regards to trying to add widgets and such. I have searched through the help guides, which are now outdated as they are not relevant to the current dashboard setup. Can I please get some assistance on either returning to the old dashboard setup or at least guidance on how to find the missing options (i.e. Widgets) on the new one?

    Hello,
    Go to the Customizer. Along the side there’s a tab for Widgets. Clicking that will open up the widget areas available for the particular theme you’re using. Click the one you want to customize, such as Sidebar Widget Area. Then click “Add a Widget”, select the widget type you want (such as text), update the setting and then save it when you’re finished.

    You can reach the classic dashboard by clicking My Sites > WP Admin.
