Unable to access childhood blog – I need it removed
-
Hello all,
I used to make posts and updates about a game when I was young.
I am now 18 years old and doing my best to clean up my past, especially on the internet, in case future employers wish to look around.
I’ve been able to make invisible all of my blogs except one, the one below:
https://cplilsuad.wordpress.com/
When I go to the above URL and add ‘login’ at the end, I’m prompted to enter a username and password which I do. However, this is no good because I still don’t have administrative rights over that blog even after logging in.
The first post on the site says it was written by Andrew Graves. This is a false name; I changed it in an attempt to get my real name away from the search engines, but failed.
Again, I have access to the Andrew Graves account. It’s mine; I’ve simply changed the name. It’s even registered to an e-mail with my real name and surname. Proof will be at the end of the post.
The front page is a story written by me in Year 7. I don’t want it on the internet.
Proof:
1. Access to Andrew Graves’ WordPress:

–> http://i62.tinypic.com/6egbuu.png2. Andrew Graves account registered to my e-mail, which matches the name at the bottom of the front page story:

–> http://i61.tinypic.com/bikkkm.pngI will gladly provide anything else needed.
Please, please help me. This means a lot to me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By the way, ignore the last sentence.
The actual blog I need help with is accessing https://cplilsuad.wordpress.com/
I had to pick one of my sites otherwise I couldn’t make the ticket.
Please disregard the last sentence.

Do you own the blog?
If you don’t own the blog you can’t delete it –
if you have Editor rights you can delete or modify the posts – from a search engine standpoint don’t delete the blog but change all the Posts and Pages to read “This content has been deleted by the author” then when search engines crawl the site their caches should be updated to the new message
If you are an Author you can edit your own Posts and Pages but not others
But again – if you don’t own the blog you can’t delete it
-
I do own it, I created it all those years ago, but for some reason it’s the one blog to which I don’t have access.
Again, it’s bizarre. When I go to the blog URL and /login I can login, but it doesn’t give me any rights over it.
The post was made by Andrew Graves, which as I’ve shown belongs to me. If I authored that post how do I have 0 access to it?
It’s my site, it even says the post was made by my account, but despite logging in I have no power over any of it whatsoever.

Logout and try: Account Recovery Page
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
fill in as much as you can – it sounds like you are not logging in as the correct account
-
I have access to the account which made the post – Andrew Graves whose username is andrewuwot.
Again, when I go to the page/blog I want to delete and /login, it prompts me with the username and I enter the right password – I can access the account!
However, when I go to the blog /admin it says I don’t have access. I simply don’t understand.

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of cplilsuad.wordpress.com.
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to access the cplilsuad.wordpress.com dashboard and/or delete the site.
The account recovery suggestion from earlier is your best bet.
