Unable to access domain and email tabs in control panel
-
Hi,
When navigating to my site’s domain and email tabs from the control panel, I am getting a persistant flickering glitch that constantly changes the url between https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/example-site.com and https://wordpress.com/domains/manage. It seems to be loading something from pixel.wp.com and http://www.facebook.com/tr along with occasional javascript(which I think is supposed to load the content) in an infinite loop.
Could someone please assist me in resolving this and accessing the domain and email tabs?
Thanks,
Beatrice

Persistent flickering makes me think you could have a connectivity issue.
In order to help you Staff need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through the list that follows and report your details back here.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/

Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.
6. If you are not successful please provide this specific info:

Hey there,
6. If you are not successful please provide this specific info:
That is weird. As @Timetheif mentioned, if you can provide us with the browser version you are using along with everything you attempted, that will be helpful for us as we look into your issue. Also, you tried a different browser and had the same flickering problem?
Let me know. Thanks!

(a) Windows 8.1 operating system connected to the internet via ethernet cord
(b) Screencast shows:
Browser — Chrome 47.0.2526.106,
User Agent — Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/47.0.2526.106 Safari/537.36I have also tried this on Internet Explorer 11, FireFox 43.0 and Chrome 47.0.2526.83 on Android. Each one had the same issue.
To rule out individual computer related problems, I had two other people that live in different cities and states from me try and they have the same issue as well, one of which uses a Mac OS.
I have cookies enabled and have disabled all extensions when attempting to view site. I have tried on browser without flash enabled and with latest version enabled.
When inspecting via chrome dev tools I see network activity from pixel.wp.com and facebook.com/tr constantly.
Please advise me on what my next steps should be.

Hey there,
Thank you for the information.
I was indeed able to replicate the flickering glitch while logged into your account, so you’re right in that it isn’t a browser or sole computer issue.
I’m going to report this to our team internally to see if we can get to the bottom of what’s causing the issue. I’ll provide them with your assessment as well.
I’ll keep you updated.
Thanks!

Hi staff-doublebassd,
Could you give an update on the status of this issue. I need to get into the domain and email sections of the control panel to make time sensitive updates to the account.
Thanks,
Beatrice -
Hi @dooleydev, they’re still working on this issue. I’ll email you though for the details to see if we can enter them from our side. Cheers!
