Unable to access email to delete blog/account

  Hello, I’m trying to delete my old blog/account from wordpress, however the email used for the account has been deactivated so I cannot log in or provide proof of ownership as I have no access to the email. I still have the username and password that I thought would work, however it still would not let me login. I even thought that it may have been WordPress.org but the login page on that site didn’t recognize my username at all. I ended up making a new account just to access the help forums here.

  If the blog cannot be deleted or I can’t access the account to do it myself in any way, I’d like to have it privated if there is a way to do that or an email that I can contact. I’m just not sure what to do since I can’t access any old verification codes since the old email is inactive.
