unable to access even thought signed in

  When I am signed in to wp, why when entering only one
  blog would the system show me as needing to log-in in order
  to click that I liked a post, but when entering all other blogs the
  system shows me as logged-in and I am able to click like?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t know wha that is and think you ought to report it to Staff as Volunteers can’t help with this issue.

  After three years of smooth sailing we’re having weirdness like this too. Regular visitors are reporting that they cannot post comments without logging in. Yet we only validate people’s first post – after that there should be no demand to log in. One has reported that he cannot log in either.

  One regular reported that he logged into Facebook and then he could comment – but using his Facebook ID, not his pseudonym for our site.

  We asked our local WP guru and are waiting for his response.

  We recently updated our commenting system. Now, if someone tries to comment with an email address attached to a WordPress.com account, they’ll need to sign into WordPress.com before they can comment.

  If commenters have forgotten their password they can request a reset:

  @ timethief – I’ve discovered what’s causing it – not counting WordPress cookies, some individual blogs are storing their own cookies; I had found these and unchecked the box accpepting any more third party cookies whist still accepting website cookies eg wordpress. I didn’t know some blogs did this, and not sure why they would.

  @timethief many thanks. Don’t you love updates that screw up things that worked perfectly before ? Our bog http://www.pigsarms.com.au has had about 40,000 comments before with little or no trouble. Sigh – progress.
