Unable to access existing account (site not yet published)

  Hi there,

  I purchased the $96 annual WordPress site holder earlier this week for the domain kansascitymetalrecycling.com and started building the website. I was about two days into building it and then tried to go back in and after signing into the account, it says I have no existing sites, no payment history, billing, or existing payment methods. I am building the site for a friend and he said the $96 charge shows on his statement. I tried to create a site using the kansascitymetalrecycling.com domain and it says it’s linked to another WordPress site (which should be mine, I just can’t seem to access it). I’m not sure how to fix this or get access back to the existing site I was working on / account. Any affiliated emails or usernames should be:

  Kansascityrecycling
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Any questions or solutions please reach out as I would like to continue building the existing site with that domain.

  I’m not sure how to fix this or get access back to the existing site I was working on / account.

  I can’t see this site connected to this account or email address, which means it’s connected to another account that uses a different email address.

  We wouldn’t be able to share what those details for privacy and security purposes.

  If you’re able to find the transaction ID of the charge, it should be possible to recover the account via this form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
