Unable to access mu website

I unable able to access my site because I was in the process of changing email addresses and then got caught up opening a new site with the email I was changing to.
How do I get access to my old site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

@hersplendidthoughtsa34b15e58f I guess your original account is https://wordpress.com/forums/users/hersplendidthoughts/. So log out from current and log in again as hersplendidthoughts.

@hersplendidthoughtsa34b15e58f here’s the thing. Now that you’ve associated that email address with this new WordPress.com account, you won’t be able to use it on hersplendidthoughts. Email addresses are unique identifiers.
But it is solvable. Before signing out of this new account, change the email address to something else first.
If you use gmail, you can use a special email address by adding +mysite (or whatever you choose) to the first part of your email address like myemail+mysite AT gmail DOT com. WordPress.com treats those + extensions as a separate email address.
Once you’ve added that new email address to your account page, confirm the new email address by clicking the link that WordPress.com sends you and then log out of this new WordPress.com account. Once you’re back in your old account, you should be able to change the email address to the one you wanted to use there.
