Unable to access my active account

I followed the account recovery procedure and still cannot access my active account. It keeps defaulting to an old account. The transaction ID I provided in account recovery was associated with eileenbochslerart.wordpress.com

Can you use the Account Recovery form while you aren’t logged into this account? That should do the trick.

You need to log out of WordPress.com first at https://wordpress.com/me
Then, you can try the options listed at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

I have tried, many times, logging out and then completing the account recovery request… it takes me back to my old account. Is there someone I can chat/talk with directly? I’ve tried the recommended procedures with no luck.
