Unable to Access My Site

Hi there, I got a message saying that my domain will expire in 4 days. When I log into my account there is no website and no billing history even though I just paid for my renewal.

  • Hi there!

You might have logged in to a different account as there are no sites or subscriptions under mckenziefittraining.

What is the domain in question?

I’d suggest having a look at which email address the notification was sent to. Then, use that email to log into the correct account.

Hi! Yes I logged into mckenziefittraining because that was where I got the email from which is why I’m confused.

The domain is KenziFit.com. Is there another way that I can check to see what email the domain/site is under?

Thanks for clarifying! It looks like the email tied to this account was set as the domain registry contact, but the email address and WordPress.com user account that purchased this is different.

If you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account – you should since this recently renewed – you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you get access from there. You can find that form here:

    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

Just fill out as much information as you have including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

You can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:

    https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

    I hope that helps!
