Unable to access my site
-
My site is hosted by a vendor but they are now uncontactable. I am currently unable to access the WordPress backend and the website keeps showing ‘Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access this resource.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.’
How can I retrieve my access to the website?

Hi there, I see that you posted something similar a couple of months ago at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/unable-to-access-admin-panel-2
Keep in mind that we can only assist here in these forums with sites hosted on WordPress.com. WordPress.com is a service that hosts WordPress sites, powered by Automattic. WordPress.org is a community where people work on the open source WordPress software. It’s also where that software can be downloaded to be run on your own web server. You can read more about these differences at
https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/The folks who use the open source WordPress software are over at https://wordpress.org/support/ They’ll have more experience with this kind of issue and are better able to assist you. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Best wishes.
