Unable to Access My WordPress Website After Connecting Domain (HTTP ERROR 500)
-
Hi, I recently purchased a domain from Hostinger: thegenuineastrologer.com. Earlier, my website was already live on Google and built using WordPress on a different hosting provider.
Now, I’ve purchased a Single Web Hosting plan, and I’m trying to connect my domain and migrate the existing WordPress site to Hostinger. However, when I open the website, it shows:
HTTP ERROR 500 — this page isn’t working.
I am unable to log in to WordPress or access the wp-admin panel. Please guide me on how to:
Fix the HTTP ERROR 500.
Properly connect or migrate my old site to Hostinger.
Access WordPress admin dashboard if possible.
Thank you!

Hi @vk589268,
I’ve checked your domain, thegenuineastrologer.com, and found that it is a self-hosted site using the open-source WordPress software (https://wordpress.org). We wouldn’t have access to it here at WordPress.com, as we are a managed hosting service, not linked with your hosting provider, Hostinger. We explain the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org in the link below.https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/#are-wordpress-org-and-wordpress-com-the-same-thing
I recommend reaching out to Hostinger for tailored assistance. You can refer to this link for information on where your website is hosted.
